The Platform for Dialogue and Action on Health Technologies in Africa (Health Tech Platform) facilitates public discourse on research, experiences, and case studies related to emerging health technologies (EHTs) on the continent. We invite academics, regulators, and observers to contribute through blogs, podcasts, webinars, and other avenues.
Write a blog
We welcome thought-provoking pieces on the current state and future direction of emerging health technologies in Africa.
To contribute a blog, please follow these guidelines:
- The blog must be your original work that has not been published anywhere else.
- Properly cite and acknowledge all sources of data and quotations. Proper attribution ensures the integrity and credibility of the content published on our platform. Any plagiarised articles submitted shall not be published.
- Each blog should be clear and concise, between 600 and 1,000 words.
- Acknowledge all sources for photos and graphics used. Photos and graphics must be yours or you must have clear permission to use them from the owner. If sourced online, you must have a Creative Commons license for their use.
Feature in a Podcast
Our podcast series Health Tech Africa features leading practitioners and experts on EHTs. It offers a unique avenue to engage and better educate the wider public on the intricacies involved in developing and deploying EHTs on the African continent.
Co-host a Webinar and Other Events
The Platform regularly collaborates with like-minded platforms and organisations to host webinars, policy dialogues, and side events at notable meetings and conferences, to set the agenda on EHTs in Africa and enable evidence-informed health policy and programming.
